Tragedy Provides Teaching Opportunity

There's nothing like a plane crash with fatalities a few miles from the classroom to provide concrete examples for the journalism class I teach. I hate to use such dark examples, but death is a part of life, and journalism. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
